Bagi anda para ISP atau penjual VPS atau Hosting pasti tau dengan yang namanya IP. IP sekarang ini yang umum di pakai adalah IPV4 dan IPV6.

IPV 4 memiliki struktur aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd sedangkan IPV6 memiliki struktur aaaa:bbbb:cccc:dddd:eeee:ffff.

Nah untuk memiliki IP anda harus terdaftar di Penyedia Regional Internet Registration (RIR) agar dapat memanage IP yang telah dialokasikan untuk anda.

RIR yang ada sekarang antara lain ARIN (Amerika and Continent Region), APNIC (Asia Pasific Region), RIPE (Eropa Region).

Cara Mendaftar Akun RIPE NCC

Berikut cara mudah mendaftar akun RIPE agar bisa memaintener IP yang anda miliki.

Step 1. Buka website RIPE.net

Step 2. Tekan tombol “Become a Member”

Step 3. Pada halaman berikutnya scroll kebawah dan tekan tombol “Join th RIPE NCC“.

Step 4. Pada halaman berikutnya tekan tombol “Create New Account”

Step 5. Setelahnya masukkan data anda sesuai dengan kolom yang disediakan lalu tekan “Sign Up”.

Step 6. Check Email Anda dan konfirmasi pendaftaran anda. Terkadang setelah konfirmasi keluar pesan “Invalid Token“. Tetapi pendaftaran anda tetap berhasil.

Step 7. Login ke RIPE.net

Pendaftaran akun di RIPE NCC telah berhasil. Dan ini Gratis.

2. Cara Membuat Role and Maintainer Object

Role Object objects describe a business function. Each object has a unique NIC handle.

Maintainer objects protect objects in the RIPE Database. They contain the information needed to authorise creation, deletion or modification of the objects they protect.

You can create your first role and maintainer objects using the object creation tool.

Choose a name for your maintainer object and enter it in the “mntner” field.

When you receive the message “Your objects have been successfully created”, make a note of your role object’s primary key and mntner object’s primary key.

You can use your role object’s primary key (NIC handle) in the “admin-c:”, “tech-c:” and “zone-c:” fields of the RIPE Database Template.

You can use your mntner object’s primary key in the “mnt-by:” field of the RIPE Database Template.

You can create additional person, role and mntner objects and also change the objects you already created using RIPE Database Webupdates.

3. Cara Membuat Organisation Object

Organisation objects contain information about organisations. Each object has a unique organisation ID (“organisation”).

You can create organisation objects using RIPE Database Webupdates.

Keep “AUTO-1” in the “organisation” field.

Enter the primary key of your mntner object in the “mnt-ref” field.

Use the “bell” icon to fill in the “abuse-c” field.

When you receive this message: “Your object has been successfully created”, “organisation ORG-XYZ-RIPE”, make a note of the new organisation ID (ORG-XYZ-RIPE).

You can use the organisation ID in the “org:” field of the RIPE Database Template.
